Energize your career with a powerful opportunity: The Duracell Company is charging up to find a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead their Americas talent development and people relations strategy.

The Senior Director of Human Resources will oversee 6-7 HR team member and support approximately 260 non-manufacturing employees in Mexico, Chile, Brazil, the US, and Canada. Reporting to the President of the Americas with a dotted line to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role will be part of both the global HR and Americas leadership teams.

This highly relationship-driven role will involve spearheading Americas talent development practices, including the development of leadership development, assessments, performance reviews, and succession planning, with an emphasis on identifying and addressing talent gaps, including gender diversity. The role will be critical in aligning talent strategies with business needs and driving organizational success. Following a recent restructuring, the new hire will assess and drive continued efficiency and productivity while maintaining innovation within Duracell’s high-engagement culture, which currently boasts a 5% attrition rate.

Duracell seeks a visionary HR leader, ideally with CPG industry expertise, who excels in coaching, leadership development, and analytics. The preferred candidate will bring 12+ years of experience and adeptly diagnose organizational challenges, leverage the new Oracle Cloud Fusion HRMS, and pioneer data-driven HR strategies. This dynamic role will demand a readiness to travel 30-50% of the time, with quarterly trips outside the US, and thrive within Duracell’s lean, decentralized, center of excellence model.
