Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategic Human Resource Business Partnerships, the individual in this critical role will mentor one direct report.  The Director will act as an employee champion and change agent who can effectively identify and prepare development plans for key employees and high potentials, lead change management initiatives and HR-related internal and external communications.  The Director will work alongside a purpose-minded HR team and provide a proactive, practical, and valued HR perspective in partnership with operational leadership, shared corporate service departments and other resources. 

This hybrid position is ideally suited for a candidate living within a drivable distance to Elwyn’s headquarters in Media, PA.  Ten (10) years’ experience in HR (generalist preferred) with two (2) years in a leadership role working collaboratively with all levels of employees, from individual contributor to senior leadership and four (4) years of supervisory experience is sought.  Demonstrated functional HR experience to include development and implementation of employee engagement activities; employment law/compliance, governance, documentation; developing and implementing organizational development programs, including succession and workforce planning; performance management; complex employee and labor relations activities; and change management principles.  Experience working with unions and collective bargaining agreements is preferred.
