Top 10 global R&D-driven biopharmaceutical company, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (TSE:4502/NYSE:TAK), seeks a Head of Global Business Unit Compensation to be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, administering, and communicating compensation strategies and programs for a group of Global Business Units which includes R&D/Oncology, PDT/Vaccines, GMS/GQ and Corporate Functions.  This newly created, top compensation position will have full leadership and oversight of these vastly different, complex Global Business Units and focus heavily on relationship management given the breadth of responsibility across multiple business units.  Importantly, the Head of Global Business Unit Compensation will oversee the harmonization of global bands, short-term incentives and long-term incentives and the localization of Workday to ensure consistency across sites in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.  The ability to collaborate regionally and communicate effectively is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing compensation programs within a global or regional organization.  He/she will have worked with a dynamic workforce and peer set, preferably one that has spanned across different locations around the world.  Familiarity with a highly technical and educated workforce from scientists, to doctors, to engineers as well as sales staff at all levels is key.  Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
