Our client, VITAS Healthcare with more than 40 years of experience as a leader in hospice and palliative care, seeks a highly engaging Sr. Regional Human Resources Director for its North Florida region.  The Sr. Director will serve as the HR leader and business partner to SVPO, VPOs and GMs to drive change and enable strategic business goals for a thriving division comprised of 2,000 employees in 13 locations across Central Florida and extending north to the Atlanta Metro area.  Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer of this difference-making and compassionate organization, the Sr. Director will provide superior leadership and expert guidance with the support of three direct reports.  The Sr. Director must bring strong HR functional expertise as well as exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and coaching skills.  Previous healthcare industry experience, including recruitment of talented nurses, and oversight of a multi-facility workforce is preferred.  Candidates must be willing to travel 60%+ as site presence and interaction with employees at all levels is required.  The newcomer will have the flexibility of being based anywhere within the North Florida region which extends from Orlando to Atlanta.
