People Relations Partner – Fairburn, GA

August 2024Tower Consultants Search Group is pleased to introduce an exciting opportunity for a People Relations Partner at Duracell’s state-of-the-art packing and distribution center located in Fairburn, Georgia, just 19 miles south of the Atlanta airport. The People Relations Partner, supporting approximately 170 employees, serves as a key liaison between HR and business operations. This role features a dual reporting structure, with a direct line to the center’s General Manager and a dotted line to the Vice President of Global People Operations.
A critical aspect of this role is cultivating a thriving and engaged workforce by addressing employee relations concerns, coaching managers on performance issues, and championing Duracell’s culture, which is firmly rooted in trust and accountability, while consistently focusing on driving value for both customers and employees.
The People Relations Partner is a multifaceted position encompassing a wide range of responsibilities including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and strategic business partnering. The individual in this role must be a skilled talent scout, adept at identifying and attracting top-tier candidates who align with Duracell’s values and performance standards. They will manage the full recruitment process, oversee employee development programs, and facilitate performance management activities such as goal setting, salary planning, and performance reviews.
The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking abilities, excellent coaching and collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant environment supporting an hourly workforce is preferred. The ability to be onsite is crucial, as developing strong relationships with employees is an important component of this position.
