Our client, a best-in-class industry leader with a global reach, seeks a talented Sr. Director, Benefits to serve as a critical member of the company’s Rewards Center of Expertise. This leader will provide leadership and strategic direction for the design, and management of the company’s benefits strategy while striving for operational efficiencies, superior outcomes, and market competitiveness. Reporting to the Vice President, Rewards & HRIS, the Sr. Director will oversee the company’s benefits offerings including savings plans, deferred compensation, voluntary benefits, disability plans, life insurance, PTO, and financial wellness. The Sr. Director will monitor regulations, tax and accounting laws as well as emerging trends to ensure compliance, assess effectiveness, and propose cost-saving solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or other graduate degree in a related field. At least 10 years of progressive HR, finance, or legal experience with at least five years of direct savings plan experience is required. The newcomer must have a deep technical knowledge of the management of retirement plan strategy and design, policies, and regulatory compliance. He/she must bring proven experience analyzing and identifying trends in participant behaviors and determining ways to drive sound participant behaviors through excellence in plan design and communication. Previous experience managing a team of multi-site team members is preferred.
