Senior Compensation Specialist

Our client, Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational industrial company with approximately 44,000 colleagues and customers in more than 180 countries, seeks a highly-developed Senior Compensation Specialist to support its Vacuum Technique business area (VTBA) in North America.  As the leading innovator in the industrial vacuum market, Atlas Copco’s VTBA, comprised of a growing population of 11,000 employees, offers innovative products, solutions, and services that bring sustainable value to industries everywhere.  Reporting to the Manager, Compensation and Benefits EMEA/Americas, the Senior Compensation Specialist will primarily provide job evaluation, benchmarking, analysis, and process improvement expertise.  While the focus of this role will be on the North America region, there will also be the opportunity to support and, at times, lead initiatives and projects of a global scope.  The successful newcomer must be able to analyze salary market data, support the VTBA global recognition program, and seek out process improvement possibilities.  The individual in this role must collaborate with the Regional HR teams, Divisional HR VPs, General Managers, Finance, and other senior managers within the business area.  The Senior Compensation Specialist must also build a network across the broader enterprise.  The ideal candidate must be passionate, curious, and eager to work in a pioneering and welcoming environment fueled by groundbreaking technology.  A minimum of five years in compensation with strong experience in benchmarking surveys, particularly Mercer, IPE evaluation, and Radford survey experience as well as familiarity with complex businesses and methodologies are a strong advantage.  While ideally, this position would sit in Parsippany, New Jersey, there would be consideration for the selected candidate to work remotely and travel as necessary.
