Our client, Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL), the leading global consumer goods company behind such household names as Rubbermaid®, Calphalon®, Graco®, and Sharpie® seeks a Director, Compensation, North America to provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, implementation, administration, and communication of all broad-based compensation programs, including job hierarchy, base salary, and annual bonus plans across the region. The role partners with the global total rewards team to provide thought leadership, innovation, executional excellence, and a focus on an outstanding employee experience through strong communication and engagement. Considered a senior role on the global total rewards team, the Director, Compensation, North America will be granted opportunities to broaden in all areas of total rewards. Reporting directly to the SVP, Global Total Rewards and HR Service Delivery Operations, the new hire will mentor and manage a team of three direct reports.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of compensation experience with building and evaluating compensation and/or bonus programs for various functions. A strategic thinker with a strong learning orientation, the Director must possess executive presence, superior relationship building and leadership management skills, and the ability to partner with key HR leaders and business stakeholders. An industry-recognized Human Resources leader with prior manufacturing or CPG experience is preferred. Previous Success Factors and SAP experience is a plus. Relocation assistance to Atlanta is offered, as needed.
